Fencing in Tajikistan is developing rapidly: there are good athletes not only in the capital of the republic, but also in other cities. Sputnik Tajikistan spoke with Secretary General of the Fencing Federation of the Republic of Tajikistan Khisrav Nasimov on how athletes train and what awaits them in the new season.
– You and your brother are in charge of the Marseille club, representing the Dushanbe-1 team. Is it exclusively business for you?
– Of course, for me it is not only business. First of all, we try to provide the conditions for classes to everyone and to educate good athletes. On the principles of fencing: Technique.
In a previous post, I talked about the general principles of an armless duel and the preparation of an attack. I thought about switching to weapons, then to armor, and so on, but I realized that I still had to talk more about technology. Otherwise, one would have to make regular digressions, which would hardly have a good effect on the structure of the narrative.
Since this is not obvious to everyone, I’ll say again – I write these posts primarily for people who are not familiar with fencing. This is not a textbook, but popularization, my goal is to acquaint, not teach. That is why I simplify and try my best to avoid details. About armor battle
If earlier I wrote mainly about an armless duel, now I’ll consider a battle in armor. For starters, what is armor in general? Many at these words imagine something like this:

And they cost comparable with this battle (I exaggerate, of course). And most of the time period and most of the warriors used much simpler types of armor.
